Who we are

Sean Kendrick has been running ranches for 25 years. After graduating college, he ran a large heritage ranch west of San Angelo. He then moved with his family to the King Ranch in South Texas where he was involved in large scale livestock and hunting programs.

In 2008, he returned to the Texas Hill Country to run the 12,000 acre Stowers Ranch in Hunt, Texas. He also started Kendrick Ranches which came to operate another 20,000 acres in West Kerr County. Sean has been involved with the Nature Conservancy since 2008 through conservation easements, and was named Conservation Rancher of the Year in both 2023 and 2024 by the Texas Soil and Water Conservation Board.

Conservation, wildlife management, and ranch profitability can complement each other. They are not mutually exclusive goals.
